In the City is a magazine and one of three publications in the MFA thesis project One Stack. Two Stack. Three Stack. (HDK, University of Gothenburg, 2016). The magazine documents a limited period and a stroll through Backaplan, Gothenburg — primarily through photography.

Publication design. A magazine that expands from a stroll through the city.
The layout plays with the constraints of the magazine page as a surface, placing elements on top of each other to comment on how the city functions as an interface. Where the three-dimensional urban space allows a viewer to move between layers, the printed page collapses them — images printing over images, content escaping from page edges.
